Join Our TeamWe’re looking for a woodwind player to join our friendly showroom team as a full-time Product Specialist. This is an opportunity to combine your knowledge and enthusiasm for woodwind instruments with a varied role helping musicians choose instruments and accessories that suit their playing, needs and budget. We would particularly welcome applications from clarinet and saxophone players, as we continue to develop the single-reed side of our business. You’ll meet a wide range of musicians, from beginners choosing their first instrument to experienced amateurs, students, teachers and professional players. Good advice is at the heart of what we do, so you’ll take the time to understand each customer and help them make an informed decision with confidence. What you’ll doHelp and advise customersYou’ll work with customers in our showroom, as well as answering enquiries by telephone and email. You’ll listen to what they need, explain the options clearly and help them through the process of choosing and purchasing an instrument or accessory. Support the day-to-day running of the businessThe role also includes a range of administrative and operational tasks, including processing finance applications, preparing insurance valuations and maintaining online product listings. Confidence using IT systems, accuracy and attention to detail are important. Represent us at eventsYou’ll have opportunities to represent the business at music events in the UK and occasionally further afield. These are a valuable part of our relationship with the wider woodwind community and a chance to meet players, teachers and other people working within the industry.
