One of six preselection contests for the 2028 Classic Piano International Competition. Taking place 10–12 August 2027 in Shanghai, pianists compete over two rounds for a €35,000 prize fund and the chance to win entry to the invite-only Classic Piano International Competition in Barcelona (10–20 September 2028) with all expenses paid. Participants aged 15–30 compete before a 7-person international jury.
