International composition competition for symphonic flamenco music. Open to composers of any nationality and without age limits. Compositions must be symphonic flamenco works of more than 12 minutes duration, include cantaor(s) in some movements, and be based exclusively on flamenco. The competition encourages contemporary and experimental proposals while maintaining clarity of flamenco rhythm. Total prize pool: 9,000 euros distributed across three categories: winner receives 6,000 euros plus diploma, score edition and premiere by OSFE; honorable mention receives 2,000 euros; special mention receives 1,000 euros. Additional distinctions without economic prize may be awarded for categories such as best foreign work, best young work, or best flamenco innovation.
