The Los Angeles Philharmonic is holding an open audition for English Horn and Oboe. This audition is part of the LA Phil's ongoing recruitment of professional orchestral musicians for section positions. Candidates are invited to audition for positions in the oboe/English horn section of the orchestra. Auditions will be held on November 4, 5, 6, and 7, 2026, in Los Angeles. Employment will commence based on the winner's availability and the Los Angeles Philharmonic schedule. Candidates must submit a completed LA Phil Resume Form in PDF format to auditions@laphil.org by August 15, 2026. Personalized resumes will not be accepted; only the official LA Phil Resume Form is required. Specific audition repertoire lists will be available once confirmed. The Los Angeles Philharmonic Auditions and Renewals Committee reserves the right to dismiss immediately any candidate not meeting the highest professional standards at these auditions.
