Audition for Contrabassoon/Section Bassoon position with The Philadelphia Orchestra. Preliminary/Semifinal auditions September 26–October 2, 2026. Final auditions October 3, 2026. Apply by August 3, 2026. A digital recording may be required to supplement résumés. Employment will begin based on the winner's availability and The Philadelphia Orchestra's schedule. Candidates advancing to the last round may be considered for The Philadelphia Orchestra's substitute list.
