International composers' competition organized by the Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic in cooperation with the ZAiKS Authors' Association. The competition aims to commemorate the Patron of the Philharmonic and promote young composers while expanding the concert repertoire. Participants must compose a work for string orchestra with a maximum instrumentation of 5-4-3-3-1 and a duration of 5 to 10 minutes.
