Open call for composers to submit orchestral works for a historic concert at Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall) on November 12, 2026. One selected work will be performed live by the Mid-Atlantic Philharmonic Orchestra. The competition seeks powerful, tonally-driven orchestral pieces reflecting the spirit of the Renaissance-21 movement. Works must be up to 5 minutes maximum, written for a double woodwind symphony orchestra (up to 36 players), and tonal in style. Selection is based on a 100% blind audition process. Free to apply, no age limits.
