Colorado's Premier Emerging Artist Competition. Pre-professional musicians showcase their artistry with a feature performance on one of the Chamber Orchestra's main season Subscription Series concerts. Winners receive $2,000 plus $500 towards a charity of choice, plus perform with the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs in the 2027-2028 season. Applicants must be an undergraduate student, graduate student, or a recent alum (class of 2024, 2025, or 2026). US citizenship or permanent residency required.

A note about online judging
This is an online competition that charges an entry fee. Classical Board believes any fee charged for online judging should be matched by real value to every applicant, whether or not they advance. Before you apply, it's worth checking directly with the organiser: • Is the jury published, and are its members musicians of genuine standing? • Does every juror listen to each submission in full? • Will you receive specific, considered feedback on your performance — win or lose?
