The Haydn Young Musician Competition UK is an online music competition open to musicians from all majors and disciplines. The platform provides a unique opportunity for young talents to showcase their skills and passion for music. The competition welcomes entries across all major instrument categories, as well as conducting, singing, instrumental performance, and chamber music. Entry fees start from £35. The 2026 Autumn Season has an application deadline of 21 August 2026, with results to be announced on 15 September 2026. The competition is a member competition under WOMCO (World Music Competitions Organization).

A note about online judging
This is an online competition that charges an entry fee. Classical Board believes any fee charged for online judging should be matched by real value to every applicant, whether or not they advance. Before you apply, it's worth checking directly with the organiser: • Is the jury published, and are its members musicians of genuine standing? • Does every juror listen to each submission in full? • Will you receive specific, considered feedback on your performance — win or lose?
