The Saint-Saëns International Music Competition is an online music competition open to all instruments, voices, conducting, composition, chamber music, ensemble, choir, orchestra, and creators. The competition operates on a seasonal basis, with multiple competition seasons per year. The 2026 Season 3 applications are currently open, with an application deadline of 12th September 2026 and results to be announced on 2nd October 2026. The competition accepts entries across a broad range of musical categories and disciplines. Participants can subscribe to the competition's mailing list to receive news and reminders about upcoming application deadlines and results. A note about online judging
This is an online competition that charges an entry fee. Classical Board believes any fee charged for online judging should be matched by real value to every applicant, whether or not they advance. Before you apply, it's worth checking directly with the organiser: • Is the jury published, and are its members musicians of genuine standing? • Does every juror listen to each submission in full? • Will you receive specific, considered feedback on your performance — win or lose?
